Live Online Baccarat
Baccarat is a card game with a glamorous European history five centuries older than its American debut in 1959. Once played to amuse royalty and high-rollers, minimum bets were typically elevated, restricting the audience and participants. Live baccarat is a relatively recent variant, but an immensely more accessible one. For the home-based bettor, winning at live baccarat online is an uncomplicated blend of luck and wise money management, since the only real decision to make is how much to wager on a given hand.
Live Baccarat Online
Despite its simplicity, baccarat remains less popular than blackjack and poker due to widespread lack of confidence about its rules. Live casino baccarat is a great way to learn how to play. Many online casinos entice new players with welcome bonuses. The odds of winning baccarat place it in a category with blackjack and poker. However, unlike those games, baccarat players have no real strategy to develop to increase the odds of winning.
Rules of Baccarat
The goal of live baccarat is to bet on the winning hand: the player’s or the banker’s. Only two hands are dealt, although many customers may place bets. Both the player and the banker receive two cards, although a third card might be dealt depending on the conditions explained below. Third cards are not optional; unlike blackjack, strict rules dictate how to proceed when playing baccarat live. A winning hand in live baccarat online consists of two or three cards whose total value is closest to nine. Cards ranging from 2 to 9 are worth point value, aces are worth one and face cards and tens are worth zero. If a hand totals more than 9 points, the right- most digit of the total value becomes the new value of the hand. For example, when a hand consists of two cards such as an 8 and a 5, totaling 13, the value of that hand is 3. Player totals of 8 or 9 are called “natural” hands. A player’s natural hand automatically wins unless the banker’s hand is the same, forcing a tie. If the player’s points equal 6 or 7, no third card is drawn. With totals of 5 or less, the player receives a third card, except when the banker’s hand is a natural. The set of rules for the banker is slightly different. Only when the banker holds a hand valued at 3, 4, 5 or 6 is there a chance that a third card will be dealt, and it all depends upon the value of the player’s third card.Play Now!
